The day that changed how we live forever. We lost thousands of lives and our sense of security was shaken. We began to do things once unheard of in
the land of the free. Taking our shoes off before boarding a plane and having our purses checked before events. Our values were questioned with racial profiling and war took on a whole new meaning.
We must never forget the lost lives and
always remember our soldiers serving- so that we may sleep in peace at night. Thank you to their families who sacrifice so much and To our son Ivan serving in the U.S. Air Force, we love you and are so proud of you!

THANK YOUR SON FOR HIS SERVICE TO THIS COUNTRY...HOPEFULLY IT IS NOT RUINED YET...BUT WE'RE GETTING CLOSE....I WAS AT THE TOWERS ONE WEEK AFTER THEY CAME DOWN...DAUGHTER WOULDN'T FLY BACK TO NY SO I RENTED A CAR ON A ONE WAY AND DROVE HER HOME...WE WERE ALLOWED TO GO DOWN AND BE UPCLOSE TO THE SITE AND IT WAS MASSIVE...YOU CANNOT IMAGINE HOW HUGE IT WAS UNLESS YOU STOOD INFRONT OF IT....SHORLTY AFTER THEY CLOSED OFF THE AREA TO PEOPLE BUT I WILL NEVER FORGET THE SITE AND THE SMELL.....I FLEW BACK TO GEORGIA A WEEK LATER AND I WAS ONLY ONE OF 11 PEOPLE ON THE ENTIRE PLANE.....

so weird I cant believe its been eight years! I remember you waking up me and kate that day and wathing TV in shock. I cant believe Ivans in the airforce thats so cool good for him:)
