Live from New York it's...

New Years Eve 2010!
We usually don't do much on New Years Eve. We watch the Times Square ball drop and festivities around the world. What do you do to bring in the new year?

Hope you have a blessed 2011!

Over the River...

OK, over the (dry) creek that leads us...

Through the woods..(which are lush and green in the spring...)

To the 'ol fishing hole.
My "baby boy" Noah taking it easy..

I inched up to the waters edge...

And plop! first cast-2 feet out. Not going to get dinner this way.
The jig waves it's pretty pink feathers at me from under the water.

Down stream...

We're in the wilderness (5 miles from town) but came prepared...
Starbucks keeps us going even when the fish don't bite!

My gorgeous sister-in-law Katie and her equally pretty daughter Madison...

Fishing can be beautiful! Love the bright pink bait!

We found this little shelter someone left behind...
My Brother Greg dreaming of the "big" one...

Mr. Wonderful getting his fish on  in between helping me untangle my line...

My nephew Aiden, discouraged he couldn't get the fire started...

And then he put his boy scout skills to work and...success!!

Guess who caught a fish?!! OK, full disclosure. I caught my FIRST fish about a week before, but hey...I can still brag, right?

Color my world silver!

Silver is exciting... yet dignified.
I especially love sparkly silver!

Add a splash of pink...

A cozy reading nook...

Silver is one of my favorite colors.

A Magical Evening...

Her house was beautifully decorated...

Sally of  UNCOVERED RUBY is not only gorgeous but a gracious hostess as well...She definitely deserves the princess wand, a gift from Michelle of  My Shabby Passion.

Had a fun time with lovely friends, that's me top and right. If you look close you can see the rabbit ears I "snuck" above Sue's head...

It's only natural to find me around the food! There was a whole 'nuther table of  delectable goodies just steps from where I stood...

Great friends and great food. What more can a gal ask for?

Thank you Sally and Lisa and Christmas Blessings to all!

Artisan fair fun...

Here are a few pictures of my table/little booth at the fair. I didn't have my camera so took a few pictures with a cell phone. I had the best time visiting with friends and fellow vendors! I finally had a chance to decorate our tree tonight but realized the lights I bought are on white cord- all you see is tangled white cord against the green tree. Sigh. Guess I will try again tommorow.
